About CHEP
Founded by Dcns Lillian Jiringho, the Centre for Happy Elderly People is a Non-Governmental Organisation with a commitment and dedication to advancing the cause of the elderly in Nigeria. Through advocacy, enlightenment campaigns, workshops and our old peoples home, CHEP has been able to make a name not for ourselves but for the aged we care for.
With nearly 2 decades of geriatric excellence, Centre for Happy Elderly People (CHEP) taken care of a great number of retired senior citizens unable to support themselves alone or needing the company of others to see out the rest of their days.
Our homes are uniquely designed to encourage group living in quiet residential areas of Lagos and Ogun states. We have a wide range of facilities available as well as stimulating programmes that our residents are encouraged to involve themselves in.
We also retain some of the better trained geriatric nurses to make our old peoples home the ideal place for your elderly ones to stay in.
VISION: Ensuring happiness of the elderly. To be one of the most reputed old peoples homes in Lagos.
MISSION: To provide succor for elderly people and help to the neglected, abandoned and less privileged elderly.
